Responsible mining is the core of our identity. It is a promise to our stakeholders, our communities, and future generations. Our operations are fully licensed by the DENR-Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) and are defined by an unwavering commitment to responsibility.

We believe mining should be a catalyst for community growth. Our Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) is designed in close consultation with our host communities, especially our partners in the Indigenous Peoples (IP) communities. Our projects focus on:

"Our tribe, the Manobo, has always lived in the shadow of these mountains. For a long time, we felt forgotten. When RichGold888 started their work, they didn't just see the gold in the ground; they saw the value in our community. They offered our husbands and sons training and steady jobs, giving them pride and a way to provide.

What touches my heart is how they honor our land and our future. After they mine, they begin to heal the soil, planting thousands of Giant Bamboo and native fruit trees. It’s a promise that the land will continue to give for generations.

They also saw our skill in weaving our traditional dagmay cloth. RichGold888 helped us form a livelihood cooperative, providing skills training so our art can reach new markets. While our husbands work at the mine, our hands are busy weaving our future. Our children, thanks to their educational scholarships, are now dreaming of becoming teachers and foresters. They are building a new story for the Manobo people."

"As Sama people, the sea is our life. We live by its rhythm. We were worried that mining on land would harm our waters. But RichGold888 came with a promise of respect. They have worked with us, building settling ponds and planting mangroves along the coast to ensure our sea stays clean.

"In Sulu, strength and self-reliance are in our blood. We are Tausūg. RichGold888 understood this. They did not come with handouts; they came with partnership opportunities. They provided good, safe jobs for our men, allowing them to provide for their families with honor.

They also recognized the skill of our women. We are known for weaving the intricate pis syabit. The company helped us organize a cooperative, providing training not just in weaving, but in business management and marketing. We now sell our sacred patterns to a wider world, a source of both income and immense pride.

Beyond livelihood, they invest in the next generation. My own son is a RichGold888 scholar, studying to be a civil engineer. He dreams of coming back to help build a better Sulu. The company is helping us mine the resources from our land to build a future for our children, right here at home."
